Mayson and Avery (alter ego Princess Jasmine) have taken an interest in vacuuming. I do the major parts, and I let them do around all the edges. The vacuum runs about 3 times as long, but if they're wanting to do it, then so be it.
Mayson told me 'Mom, I'm big enough to use the big part. I'm almost 4.'
Roewyn LOVES to climb on the toy baskets. As soon as her older sisters pull one off the shelf, she beelines for it. She grabs the opposite side, and pulls herself across the top. She's getting pretty quick. And as soon as she does it, she looks at me and Jon for a reaction. She is walking along the couch and tv stand, and she loves to climb up the stairs. Once she is up the stairs, she crawls to each room looking for me, then starts crying when she realizes she's all alone up there. But she now knows to wait for assistance, which is nice. I don't have to worry about a 4th tumble down the stairs.
Hallelujah! Avery's hair is now long enough to braid! She was so excited the first time I did it. She kept grinning and would run to the bathroom to look in the mirror. She holds them out to the sides and says 'Mom, look how long my hair is. Its like Mayson's.' And this is Mayson's 'Roe' hair, from Barbie Island Princess. I made the mistake of asking her how she wanted to do her hair WHILE she was watching the movie. So now whenever I ask, its 'I want it like Roe.'
The happy girl with braids. She is now also potty trained, hooray hooray. She has had 3 accidents since wearing panties full time (minus bedtime of course, those are pullups). One was when she fell asleep in the car and I was carrying her inside (yes, she peed on me), one was on Uncle Matt's lap while she was falling asleep (he febreezed his pants after) and one was her running to the bathroom but didn't make it. So she is doing really well.

Cute hair - Mayson's is so long. Avery is doing awesome with potty training. Back to just one in diapers. Yeah for you!
See those are super cute. Your girls are adorable. I love when they finally have hair long enough to do in braids. It sure is fun.
What's the sense of having a plain and ordinary accident. It's much better to share the 'warmth' with family. Avery's track record makes me giggle. I can imagine how proud she'd be with long hair too. So cute to have her spirit boosted.
Roewyn is so dang cute. I can't believe that she's such a climber and I can't believe that she's fallen down the stairs three times. It's cute that she's learned her lesson through trial and error. Be glad you have a landing.
