Mayson and Avery had a fun-filled 2 days! After a slumber party with Grandma DJ, Nyssa and 'The Raine', a trip to the mall and out for lunch, me and Roewyn met up with them and we all went to Light Up Okotoks.

They went to bed pretty late, and woke up pretty early, so Avery fell asleep pretty quickly on the walk down to Elizabeth Street. Avery woke up for a
split second, then was out again. Mayson was WIDE AWAKE though!

All the kids on the back of the fire truck, minus Roewyn. I didn't want to take her out of the stroller, because then she wouldn't go back in....

Roewyn REALLY wanted to get out, but I would just keep distracting her with snacks....muah ha ha!

I asked Avery what was wrong, and she said "I so tired".....

All the kids stood in line to go in the fire truck, and Judy took pictures for me. She took 6, and there was not one where either of them were looking at the camera. When they first got in, the fireman asked Mayson what her name was, and she said "Mayson. M-A-Y-S-O-N", just so there was no confusion! They had lots of fun inside and Mayson said "mom, there were so many buttons and stuff". I asked Avery what she thought and she said "ya, there were lots of buttons. I saw them!"

We walked passed this window later, and Mayson said "mom, that's the fireman that took the picture with me!"

Avery said 'Hi fireman!" when we walked past.
We missed the actual "light up", but the girls had fun walking around and seeing all the people. Hopefully next year we'll make it on time!
