5ive.....

Is she 5 already? REALLY? Where did my little girl go? She starts school this year. She writes, and reads a little bit. She is VERY smart and SO sweet. She is funny and imaginative. She is so GREAT with her younger sisters and is such a help to me. She is a problem-solver and very affectionate. She gets smarter and more independant everyday. It makes me kind of sad - but PROUD.

In her dress she got from G&G Richards. She LOVES it. She got it on wednesday, and couldn't wait to wear it to church on sunday. It was on her dresser the whole time on standby....

Her castle cake for her 'friends' party. (Don't look too close).

The 'chocolate cake with cherries on it' for her 'family' party. She wanted twisty candles.

Opening presents from her aunts and uncles....she got an Easy Bake Oven and a couple Barbies. And she got to go goggle-shopping with Gramma DJ. She's been asking for googles for a while...
She also got "Twinkle Toes" shoes from mom and dad, which she gets to use as indoor shoes for school. We got them in Vegas when we went, and she was pretty happy! She would ask for them whenever she saw the commercial. They are actually pretty fun :)

Her 'friend' party was fun! It was kind of low key, but the girls painted jewelry boxes and played and watched "The Princess and the Frog". As she gets older I'll have to start actually planning some games and stuff......

Blowing out the "5".

She is becoming so grown-up. She came home last night from shopping with Gramma DJ and she looked about 10. She was wearing a skirt and shirt she got from one of her friends, her 'church boots' and her jean jacket, and carrying a purse with her OWN money in it. I almost cried.

We love our Mayson. She is awesome.
