The girls LOVE Halloween! They have such a fun time dressing up and seeing all the decorations that other people put up in their yards (maybe next year!). This is them dressed up for Cera's Halloween party. i didn't have their cheerleader costumes done yet, so they went as Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. Avery originally wanted to be Sleeping Beauty, so I bought her the costume, then she saw the pattern for Mayson's cheerleader costume and changed her mind. It may have been a scam to get the dress that's she's wanted for about 6 months!

Sisterly love!

Avery posing.

Mayson posing.

The cheerleader costumes finished! Thanks to mom for giving me the fabric, zippers and elastic, the finished product cost me about $9! Plus the time to sew them.....but the girls loved them and I think they turned out pretty good if I do say so myself!

We went to ANOTHER Halloween party that a friend from church was throwing, they had a fun time running around with all the kids on the acreage and looking at the horses. Dad and Roewyn stayed home because they weren't feeling well, but Mayson made dad a pumpkin cookie and Avery brough home a cupcake for Roewyn.

I didn't have any red ribbon for Mayson's hair, and she didn't want white, so she said "I'll just use pink and pretend its red". Okay, whatever....

Getting ready to go trick or treating! Roewyn makes such a cute elephant!

All the girls....Roewyn actually stayed seated, which was surprising!

"eese!"

Mayson's pose. I really don't know where she got it from, DEFINITELY not from me!

And again, not quite sure....

Avery posing, I told her to shake the pom pom, but she said "I don't want to shake it cuz it will get messed up then I will have to brush it again".

Posing sisters....
They had such a good time trick or treating! Mayson said 'trick or treat' at every house (didn't do it at all last year) and 'thank you'. Half way through the night she was saying 'Happy Halloween' instead of thank you. Avery was a little more shy, but said it a few times. They got LOTS of candy and treats, and we only did about 3 blocks of houses. And they are very good at sharing their haul with mom and dad! Avery has already notified me that she wants to be a butterfly next year and Mayson wants to be Ariel and/or a witch. Or a witch-mermaid - red hair with a witch hat. We'll see how that one plays out....
