As the summer was winding down, we wanted to get in a few more activities before it got too cold. We went to Calaway Park one last time....

Avery went on the car ride by herself while Dad and Mayson were in line for the Ocean Motion.

Killing time while Mayson was STILL in line for Ocean Motion.Avery said she was excited that Mayson was 'being brave'.

Dad and Mayson, she wasn't too excited once it started moving though!

We went downtown to feed the ducks one night. It was pretty warm out, and the girls had lots of fun riding on the train and walking around the park.

SOO many ducks started showing up once the pieces of bread started being tossed! And seagulls, one even swooped about 2 inches over Mayson's head! Mayson kept saying "We came to feed the ducks, NOT you seagulls!" Avery was getting kind of scarred, so she was standing behind my led for this picture!

The ducks kept waking up the stairs to get closer to the food, Mayson didn't mind it so much, but Avery for sure did!

I went in to turn off their lamp one night and this is what I found, I thought it was kind of sweet!

I took the girls on a scavenger hunt on the first nice day after the first snowfall. We found walking sticks, crab apples, pine cones, different colored leaves, a pop bottle (yahoo, 20 cents!), and they saw various bugs with their magnifying glasses. They had a good time!

Roewyn wasn't TOTALLY feeling it......it was a little windy.

Mayson said "its like I'm a giant, and its a normal sized tree!"

The "two giants".

We went to the park after, and Mayson called this 'the friendship slide".

A house on our street has a wishing well, and they wanted their picture taken by it. There were no cars in the driveway, so hopefully no one was home!

Roewyn discovered how to climb the bathroom shelf (among other things) while brushing teeth one night before bed.....it is now a nightly occurance.

Mayson had been asking me to try to change Roewyn's diaper for awhile, so I let her (only pee diapers allowed!) She did an excellent job, I didn't even have to adjust the tabs. I asked her if she would want to change all the diapers for our next baby (NOT an announcement!) and she replied "um, no...I just want to practise a little". FINE!!

Mayson has come downstairs with some pretty interesting outfits, and this was one of them. I thought it looked a little disco-era, so I told her to do the Travolta, she did. Even though she asked "what's a Travolta?"

All the girls gettin' down!
